Open Mic! Comedy Night FUNdraiser and Meet&Greet with Krewe de Kannabis

Calling all funny folks!!! And come meet the Krewe de Kannabis!

It's that time again! We're raising some funds for the Krewe de Kannabis' efforts and advocacy work in our community and beyond to #breakthestigma and #freetheplant! This event is also a "Meet & Greet" for new applicants, members, and supporters!

Please join us for a hilarious night with a cannabis focused spin on August 20! This is an OPEN MIC NIGHT comedy show that requires a few good ganja jokes on the mic to please the crowd.

Note: This is NOT a competition, however participation prizes for the best cannabis inspired jokes may be up for grabs by silent crowd judges and Krewe sponsors.

Thank you to Moonshine Still & Grill for donating the space! Doors open at 6ish, show starts at 7. Followed by live music by Buzzcut, and a party after! This event is 21+

We will also have door prizes, 50/50 raffle, and a special event drink.

Wear your best cannabis culture attire, and dress for the party!

Please purchase tickets ahead of entry. Space is limited, and we'd like to attempt to set up enough seating. Our last event was standing room only after 7.

No ticket - no entry. No refunds for no shows. Thank you for your donation! If space allows, you can get tickets at the door the day of the event ($15 in advance, $20 cash preferred at the door).

Please Note: Medical Marijuana card holders may consume their medicine respectfully on premises at this private event, but NOT inside the event space. This event is 420 friendly outdoors. And again, 21+.

Where do our funds reach? We actively raise money to keep our Krewe evolving, float upkeep, events, parades, and community presence. And raising money for our first ball on January 13, 2023 (Save the date!)

Full legalization in Florida has shifted focus to 2024 legislative session, however the work must be done now leading up to the new petitions, campaigns, and initiatives. Come out to our event to learn more about how you can help #FreeThePlant and have some cannabis conversations with us!
