Gulf Breeze is a community in Escambia County, Florida on Pensacola Bay near the western tip of Santa Rosa Island and the city of Pensacola. Its population according to the 2010 Census was 27,001. History of Gulf Breeze: Gulf Breeze was settled in the early nineties by developers who created resorts similar to those found further south along the Emerald Coast.
