Home to some of the funkiest shops and vendors in town, Tallahassee shops, galleries, and studios stay open late each first Friday at Railroad Square Art Park. You'll also find one of the only cafes that was constructed out of an old railroad caboose!
When walking through Railroad Square Art Park, you'll find live music, drum circles, food vendors such as Mobile Culinary Kitchen and Foar food trucks, craft beer, educational booths, and creative demonstrations. This premiere art and culture district in Tallahassee hosts more than 70 studios, galleries, and small shops, making it an ideal location for many local artists and small businesses.
What does Railroad Square offer the rest of the month? The art park is pretty quaint and peaceful the rest of the month, then it hosts an exciting First Friday Gallery Hop. The layout of Railroad Square Art Park is also something to see in itself with a gorgeous green space and sculpture garden with memorial park benches along with a loop road circling the entire art district and various gallery neighborhoods.
For newcomers, try to arrive early because parking can be a hassle. Railroad Square Art Park is also pet-friendly, so feel free to walk around, enjoy the sights, and walk around with your furry friend!
